Peter Balyta
(B.Ed. ’94, Ph.D. ‘07)
Peter Balyta is corporate Vice President of Academic Engagement and President of the Education Technology business at Texas Instruments. He is responsible for leading teams that focus on the mission of improving the teaching and learning of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) subjects. "My goal is to provide the best technology and resources to help students develop a strong foundation in math and science, setting them up for success in the classroom, college, and into their careers."
Dana Levinson Steiner
(B.Ed.'10)
Dana Levinson Steiner is Director of ACCESS Global at AJC, where she oversees an international program to engage young professionals through transformative leadership development. Previously, Dana served as Manager of Jewish Leadership & Impact at the Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life at NYU, where she founded Chutzpanit: from Campus to the C-Suite, a preparatory and mentorship program for Jewish college women that aims to close the workplace and leadership gender gap.
Samantha Rapoport
(B.Ed. '04)
Sam Rapoport is the Senior Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with the National Football League. Rapoport has dedicated her career to leading organizational transformation in the NFL. With this focus, she has worked to change the face of football to include more women, with an emphasis on women of color, in the talent pipeline. Rapoport was named one of People Magazine’s 25 Women Changing the World, Fortune's 40 Under 40, and was featured as an outstanding woman in sports by Sports Illustrated. In 2019, Rapoport was awarded the NFL Commissioner’s Award.
Katherine Moxness
(M.A. '91, Ph.D. '02)
Ms. Katherine Moxness was appointed Executive Director of the West Montreal Readaptation Centre (WMRC) in 2013. Over the years, she has also held positions as director of professional services and of quality in rehabilitation centres. She has published many papers on pervasive developmental disorder, intellectual disability, and autism spectrum disorder.
Stephanie Garrow
(M.A. '93, Ph.D. '05)
Stephanie Garrow is a passionate coach, facilitator and strategist who brings 20+ years of experience working with philanthropic organizations and leaders to increase their social impact. In 2012, she co-founded Garrow & Evoy, a Montreal-based consulting practice committed to supporting leaders in corporate and not-for-profit sectors to adopt new ways to enhance their impact and affect large-scale social change.
Matt Nichol
(B.Ed. '98)
Matt Nichol is a veteran strength and conditioning coach who has trained professional and elite amateur athletes since the late 1990’s, working with numerous individuals and teams. Matt is an industry leader that hosts Canada’s premier summer, off-season hockey camp for top NHL players. Every year 25 NHL and 25 of the best amateur players get accepted into the program. Using the latest technology, equipment and scientific research Matt tailors training and nutritional plans to maximize his athlete’s performance.
