The Dean's Office admin and support team work alongside the deanery to advise, facilitate, and coordinate projects and initiatives. Personnel may include those that work in finance, stewardship, marketing, operations, human resources, event management, and general administration.

Research Financial Administrator

Lara is responsible for all aspects of post-award management of McGill Education academics’ research grants and contracts. As the primary financial resource person for principal investigators, Lara facilitates questions on various aspects of research-related financial reporting and compliance as well as being a liaison between academics and other McGill units.

Franca reviews and verifies expense reports before submitting them for approval. Processes requisitions, payment requests, journals and PCard reconciliations. Acts as resource person and follows up on problems. Ensures accuracy and compliance with university and granting agency guidelines, as well as accounting, reporting and procedures. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of these matters and gives explanations to researchers and staff members.

Senior Advisor to the Dean
Dean's Office

Allyson is the lead administrator within the Faculty, providing guidance and support to the Deanery and supervising non-academic staff that fall under the auspices of the Dean’s Office. Her major involvements include academic personnel dossiers from recruitment to retirement, Faculty Governance, Human Resources, policies and protocols, and liaising with University governance and other central units.

Ida collaborates closely with the Research team, the Associate Dean of Research and Innovation in the Faculty of Education, and the Office of Sponsored Research. As a member of the finance team, Sarah's duties include approving expenditures, receiving funds and processing deposits. Compile and prepare material to be sent to the bank. Review, verify and process expense reports, requisitions, claims, advances, savings bonds, invoicing and charges. Make corrections, processing adjustments and follow up on problems.

As a member of the Dean’s Office team, Andee spearheads strategy and implementation of the Faculty’s digital and print marketing communications and branding, for internal and external audiences. In addition, she is a communications liaison with McGill's Central communications leadership and media. Andee also provides guidance to the Faculty’s departments/units as needed.

Naman is in charge of managing the Education AV Loans Centre/AMRC Resource Centre, as well as taking on the role of IT Asset Steward for the Faculty. He also assists with providing technical support for the non-classroom spaces in the Education building. His professional experience includes AV Project Management, AV Systems Integration Operations, as well as service department roles.

Communications and Publications Coordinator

Marc works directly with the Marketing & Communications Officer in designing layout and artwork for digital and print media, including flyers, brochures, e-blasts, and more. Marc also coordinates the social media dashboard and website updates.
