There is always something newsworthy to report on regarding the activities and accomplishments of the Department's faculty members, be it receiving a major grant, a prestigious honour or award, or showcasing their research, teaching or clinical activities. Since 2011 the Department has been honouring Department members with awards in the following categories - Lifetime Achievement; Research or Clinical Service; Teaching & Mentorship; and Academic, Clinical or Research Support. These have been presented at the Gerald Bronfman Centre Symposium and Awards Ceremony (2011-2015) and the Gerald Bronfman Department of Oncology Distinguished Lecture and Awards Ceremony (2017-Present).
