Based on the metrics determined by the journal's editorial team, Dr. Gilbert's paper, Safety and efficacy of mirvetuximab soravtansine, a folate receptor alpha (FRα)-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), in combination with bevacizumab in patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, was the most cited and one of the most read papers in 2023. Congratulations to Morag Park, PhD and to George Zogopoulos, MD, PhD for receiving funding from the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network. Prof. Park's project titled, Integrated genomics and spatial heterogeneity to enhance personalized therapies for rare metaplastic breast carcinomas, focuses on metaplastic breast cancer (MpBC) which though rare, is aggressive. The goal of Dr. Zogopoulos' project, Marathon of HopE Genome Sequencing to Inform Novel Treatments Portfolio Trial (MAESTRO), is to match pancreatic cancer patients with personalized therapies.
