The discipline of hematology/oncology focuses on the three groups of blood cancers: leukemias, lymphomas and myelomas. Clinicians and clinician scientists in this discipline are located at the MUHC Glen site, the Jewish General Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital Center. At McGill they are appointed in the Department of Medicine with a subset also having an appointment in the Gerald Bronfman Department of Oncology. Residents in the Medical Oncology Training Program are expected to do malignant hematology rotations.
