McGill Sustainable Systems Initiative
Shifting to sustainability requires taking a multi-faceted systems-level approach to some of the world’s knottiest problems. The McGill Sustainability Systems Initiative mobilizes McGill researchers around these sustainability challenges and to equip the next generation in the skills necessary to address these issues.
Sustainable Labs Practices
As a leading research institution, McGill’s faculty and students rely on laboratories to produce novel science and investigate the biggest questions of our lifetime. These practices can negatively impact our environment by producing excess waste and requiring extra energy.
Research and Sustainability Network
The Research and Sustainability Network (RSN) seeks to inform and empower students at McGill, bridging the gap between researchers in sustainability, and undergraduates interested in research. Through recurring conferences, speaker series, and networking events, the RSN facilitates collaboration and increases accessibility to undergraduate research positions.
