My name is Ash (they/them) and I am a graduate student at McGill University School of Social Work under the supervision of Nico Trocmé and Zack Marshall. My master's thesis will focus on the factors that influence mental health care provision for trans, non-binary and gender-diverse (TNBGD) people. It is anticipated that the literature will help to better identify what can improve services, particularly for TNBGD youth and their families by sharing knowledge as well as creating training materials for mental health care providers that will focus on addressing some of the intersections and disprivileges that TNBGD Francophones or their families may encounter when making sense of their own identity (or their child's identity) or accessing quality information on social or medical transition.
