About Equity at McGill

McGill’s Equity Team is firmly committed to advancing and implementing inclusive excellence. Through activities focused on education and policy development, the Equity Team works to build and sustain a campus community that understands and works to dismantle the varied social barriers that can stand in the way of access to and success within higher education.

The Equity Team reports into the Office of the Provost & Vice-President (Academic). It is accountable for reporting on its activities and outcomes, in line with EDI-related policies and strategic plans, to McGill’s Senate and Board of Governors through the Joint Board-Senate EDI Committee.
