When Every Minute Counts: How Stenoa Streamlines Care Coordination and Improves Patient Outcomes

Saving lives, one heartbeat at a time🫀Stenoa's Cloud-Based Platform is Revolutionizing Urgent Cardiac Care.

Read our latest interview with Jeremy Levett to learn Stenoa’s journey and ambitions. We are proud to support them in Los Angeles and aid in their vision for a future of intuitive care coordination.

What motivated you to start Stenoa?

Throughout medical school, I was surprised to see the lack of a robust infrastructure for the coordination of lifesaving care at the intra-hospital, inter-hospital, and pre-hospital levels. The technology gap was obvious to me, and the overreliance on legacy systems including fax machines, hospital telephone operators, pagers, and text message group chats to coordinate logistically complex and time-sensitive care concerned me. Coupled with my clinical interests in cardiovascular disease, my passion for improving patient outcomes at a population level, and my conviction that there was a better way to coordinate care, Stenoa was born.

What are some challenges you are facing while scaling your start-up?

Sales cycles are inherently long in the healthcare ecosystem. Over the past months, we’ve learnt to better parallelize our sales efforts and more closely target our ideal customer profile. We look forward to nurturing these relationships and growing our customer success team in the near future.

How did the Dobson Centre play a role in Stenoa as we know it today?

Our paths have only recently crossed with the Dobson Centre, however we are very grateful for their invitation on the international tour, a unique opportunity to engage with healthcare stakeholders globally. We look forward to engaging with partners across market sectors, and exploring areas for collaboration and value generation.

Who would be an ideal partner or collaborator for Stenoa?

Our flagship ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) platform serves tertiary and quaternary hospitals with cardiac catheterization laboratories, as well as their referring hospitals and pre-hospital systems. We are currently focused on deploying our technology in North American hospitals across the continuum of heart attack care, and look forward to expanding to other clinical indications in the near future.

What are you most excited about for ViVe in Los Angeles?

We are interested in expanding to the United States and building relationships with payor and provider networks to explore value-based contracting, a revenue model which aligns interests with our mission-critical care coordination software and provides mutually beneficial value to payors and providers.
