Eirini Kapellou

Eirini Kapellou

Eirini Kapellou is second-year undergraduate student in Psychology at McGill University. Outside of the academic year, she works as a daycare substitute educator. Dedicated to contributing to our community, Eirini is involved in various local and international initiatives through the MED-Life movement that improve the overall health and welfare of families and communities in need. She is a member of the Centre for Research on Children and Families (CRCF) since 2023. In the future, she aspires to become a licensed psychologist and provide her assistance to children with the goal of enhancing their overall well-being.

Eirini’s primary research interests include child welfare and the impact of maltreatment on the children’s education, as well as the investigation of interventions and programs aimed at building resilience in children who have experienced trauma.
