Aline Boggosian

Aline BoggosianA social worker by training, I have clinical experience in paediatric emergency social services. I am an associate professor at École de travail social, Université de Montréal. I primarily teach social work practice with individuals and interdisciplinary collaboration in health and social service, as well as undergraduate and graduate field education.

My research focuses on the ethical and social issues affecting young people living with chronic illnesses or developmental disorders, their families and health and social service professionals. My research programme aims to link the development of social work theory and best practice with pragmatic ethics. In practice, teaching and research, I favour a collaborative, participatory and reflective approach that aligns with growth-oriented social work theories concerned with the impact of the social environment on well-being.
