TechIdea Pitch Competition: Submission Deadline

The TechIdea Pitch competition encourages McGill students, working in teams, to propose new technologically-based ideas/solutions that solve real world problems. This year's pitch competition is taking place on January 24th, 2024 during the John D. Thompson Entrepreneurial Development Seminar. Up to 5 teams will be selected to compete, each team will have 3 minutes to present their TechIdea pitch to a panel of judges from the business and entrepreneurial community. Judges will have 2 minutes to ask questions and give feedback.
Finalists will have a chance to win cash prizes; $500, $250, $100 and a bonus $50 audience favourite!
How It Works
- Students submit their TechIdea before the deadline on January 14th 2024, 11:59PM (ET)
- Up to top 5 ideas are selected and coaching is provided to help them develop their pitch
- Finalists pitch their idea during the 11th Annual John D. Thompson Entrepreneurial Development Seminar on January 24th, 2024
- Top 3 pitches win cash prizes of $500, $250 and $100 plus a bonus $50 prize for audience favourite
