Meet your First-Gen Community!
The First-Generation* community at McGill welcomes you to our opening event for First-Gen week!
You will have a chance to meet other First-Gen students, ask questions about McGill and participate in a variety of fun activities! This event will also include a discussion on making the most of McGill and finding your network and community.
(We allow students to self-identify as "First-Generation", but it typically means student whose parent(s) or caregivers did not complete a four-year college or university degree. This can include students whose parents did not complete a four-year degree in Canada or the United States, and students who are or were youth in care.)
