McCAIS Co-Director - Dr. Golnoosh Farnadi
Dr. Golnoosh Farnadi is an Assistant Professor of the School of Computer Science at McGill University, and Adjunct professor at University Montréal. She holds a Canada CIFAR AI Chair and is a Core Academic Member at Mila. She is an internationally recognized expert in fairness and privacy in AI and is involved in a variety of efforts toward improved AI governance.
McCAIS Co-Director - Dr. Samira A. Rahimi
Prof. Abbasgholizadeh-Rahimi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University. She holds a Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Advanced Digital Primary Health Care and is an associate academic member of Mila. She is also elected President of Canadian Operational Research Society, and Director of Artificial Intelligence in Family Medicine (AIFM). Her research focuses on the development and implementation of advanced digital health technologies such as AI-enabled decision support tools in health care.
