A world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. The RI-MUHC brings together pediatric and adult research programs aimed at improving the health of individual patients across their lifespan. This includes fundamental biomedical research, patient-oriented and applied clinical research, research on health services and health systems, as well as population and health promotion research, including societal and cultural effects on health.

Lady Davis Institute

The LDI is the research arm of the Jewish General Hospital (JGH). Special areas of interest include Cancer Therapeutics, Molecular Oncology, Cell and Gene Therapy, AIDS/HIV, Aging, Hypertension and Cardiovascular Disease, Clinical Epidemiology, and Psychosocial Aspects of Disease.

In addition to the RI-MUHC and the LDI, our research and graduate-level training takes place at the Duff Medical Building and CHU Sainte-Justine.

Our main collaborators can be found across the McGill campus and affiliated hospitals, for example, at the Goodman Cancer Institute.
