Call for Speakers 2024-2025

We are excited to announce the planning of a new initiative in our department, 'Pathways in Pathology: A Departmental Seminar Series'.
The hour-long seminars will take place virtually twice per month, featuring one clinical pathologist and one clinician-scientist/scientist. The idea is to hear from a diverse group of experts, ranging in topics from interesting cases to the basic sciences, in reflection of our department’s diverse clinical and research activities. There will also be opportunities for residents and graduate students to present their current research projects. Thus, all members and trainees are welcome and encouraged to attend.
We are seeking input from our members on prospective speakers and a weekday/time for this bi-monthly event. At present, we are putting forward Mondays from 4-5 PM; however, we are open to suggestions to accommodate as many as possible. We will be accepting proposed speakers on a rolling basis throughout the year, but for the Fall 2024 cohort, the deadline is July 1, 2024.
