STARS: Advanced Bio-Imaging Facility (ABIF)

Guided tour with Director Dr. Claire Brown. Meet at 12 noon on the ground floor of the Bellini Building at 3649 Promenade Sir William Osler. Operating since 2003, the ABIF offers more than a dozen state-of-the-art light microscopy platforms. They provide guidance to researchers with their projects from sample preparation to data analysis. Lunch after the site visit, location to be determined.

STARS (Scientists Talk About Research for Staff) is a series of special lunch-hour talks and visits to science related sites and institutes specifically for Faculty of Science support staff. The Dean of Science generously provides the lunches for the monthly STARS.
