Former PhD student James Rickards featured in Quanta Magazine

The work of mathematician and McGill alum James Rickards was highlighted in a recent article in Quanta Magazine. Rickards, who received his PhD in 2021 under the supervision of Henri Darmon and is now a post-doc at the University of Colorado, Boulder, was part of a team that disproved a conjecture about Apollonian circle packings.
