NutriPulse captures 3rd place at World Vision Food Security Social Innovation challenge

NutriPulse has captured 3rd  place in the 2018 World Vision Food Security Social Innovation challenge!   Co-Founders and PhD candidates Josephine Ampofo (FdSci), Adeyemi Adegbenjo (BRE) and Zeyan Zhong  (FdSci) will spend the next year building their project.

NutriPulse aims to source nutrient-dense sprouted pulse foods from smallholder women farmers in Ghana, and then process and supply these ready-to-cook foods to students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and people from the semi-rural communities surrounding KNUST – clienteles that are not traditionally assisted through food security programs.
