Dans ce livre, la professeure Adelle Blackett transporte le lecteur dans les coulisses de l'OIT afin de révéler l'histoire derrière l'adoption de la Convention No. 189 concernant le travail décent pour les travailleuses et travailleurs domestiques et de la Recommandation No. 201, desquelles elle fût l'architecte principale.
