Panel Overview: Instructors design and implement the teaching that students experience. This panel will focus on how Generative AI is forcing us to rethink what and how we teach and conduct assessments. Instructors and students from different disciplines will share reflections on their experiences and discuss future directions for teaching in the age of Generative AI.  

Questions explored:  

  1. In an era of generative AI, what is the impact on the knowledge and skills teachers perceive students will need to learn as part of the higher education curriculum? 

  1. In an era of generative AI, what values and ethical contexts should we be considering in teaching, for ourselves and for our students? 

  1. What is changing for teachers in how they teach and what they teach?
