The annual Montreal Alumni Reception, held during the Journées internationales dentaires du Québec (JDIQ), brought together Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences alumni and faculty members for a memorable evening of connection and celebration.
Dean Elham Emami expressed gratitude to the attendees and emphasized the importance of staying connected as a community. "Staying connected has strengthened our sense of community and belonging, and the ties that bind us" declared Dean Emami. The event provided a valuable opportunity for alumni, faculty, and dental professionals to reconnect and inspire one another.
During the reception, Dean Emami highlighted some remarkable Faculty achievements. From the faculty's dedication to equity, diversity, and inclusion to its recent advancements in research and infrastructure, the Alumni Reception was a memorable gathering that highlighted the achievements and aspirations of the Faculty and fostered connections among alumni, staff, and dental professionals. "Together, we have accomplished many great things in the last year. Tomorrow, we welcome the class of 2023 to our family of alumni; I hope their passion for dentistry can be a reminder to us all about why we chose dental medicine, and similarly, that our enduring commitment to the profession can inspire them for many years to come" says Dean Emami.
