Remote access to Library public workstations for McGill students, faculty, staff now available

McGill students, faculty and staff can now connect remotely to Library workstations in order to use specialized software that may not be available on personal computers. Use McGill IT's AnyDesk Service to locate an available library workstation. Access the workstation remotely using Microsoft Remote Desktop. Learn more about locating & connecting to an available Library workstation here.


Please note that: 

  • Off-campus users must be connected to the McGill VPN in order to access the service
  • Featured software differs from station to station. Use the "Search for available software" search box in McGill AnyDesk to find specialized software like SPSS, ArcGIS, STATA, NVivo, etc.
