McGill Chemistry Outreach Group founders describe the group's work in new tribute

Founding members of the award-winning McGill Chemistry Outreach program have documented the inception and work of the group in Beyond exploding balloons- bringing the science of chemistry to the public, a new piece in the Canadian Journal of Chemistry.

Jacky Farrell, Science Outreach Program Advisor and Dr. Alexander Wahba, Academic Associate in the department of Chemistry describe the history, goals and experiences of the McGill Chemistry Outreach group since its inception 7 years ago as well as the group members' experiences participating in science outreach trainings developed by the Office of Science Outreach. 

The tribute has been published in a two part special issue, dedicated to the department of Chemistry, in honour of McGill's bicentennial anniversary. Both part 1 and part 2 of the issue are available online.
