Dear Members of the McGill Community,
Pursuant to the University Statutes, an Advisory Committee to the Principal has been constituted for the selection of the Vice-Principal (Research and Innovation). The Committee’s mandate is to find the candidates best qualified to lead the portfolio of the Vice-Principal in the years ahead.

The Advisory Committee will be holding consultation sessions beginning April 2023. The Committee welcomes written comments by members of the McGill community on the opportunities, challenges, and priorities facing the portfolio of the Dean and Vice-Principal over the next 5-10 years, and the qualifications, leadership skills, experience and attributes that the ideal candidate should possess.
All comments will be treated in the strictest confidence by the Committees and should be addressed, in confidence, to Edyta Rogowska, Secretary-General, by e-mail to: advisories [at] mcgill.ca

Conformément aux Statuts de l’Université, un comité consultatif auprès du principale a été mis sur pied afin d’étudier la sélection du/de la vice-principal(e) (recherche et innovation).

Le comité consultatif tiendra des séances de consultation à partir d’avril 2023. En attendant, le comite encourage tout commentaire ou opinion de la part des membres de la communauté de McGill sur les opportunités, les défis, les enjeux et les priorités auxquels fera face le/la vice-principal(e) au cours des 5 à 10 prochaines années et les qualifications, les compétences de leadership, l'expérience et les attributs que le/la candidat(e) devrait posséder.
