Zoom

Are you interested in a career in international development? Do you wonder what it’s like to work for the United Nations (UN) and how to get there? Join us for an inspiring virtual discussion and Q&A with three employees from the UN International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), hosted by McGill's Margaret A Gilliam Institute for Global Food Security, the University of Guelph, and the IFAD Youth Network.

IFAD is an international financial institution and a specialized agency of the UN dedicated to eradicating poverty and hunger in rural areas of developing countries. Speakers will discuss their career paths and experiences in the UN system, and offer advice and insights towards young people hoping to work in the international development field. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit their own questions to the panellists following the discussion.
