Mentoring Circles are conversations between students/new grads and alumni to share their expertise on career-related topics.   

The goals are:  

· To provide students with a better overview and understanding of career paths 

· Foster a sense of belonging and community to McGill 

· Facilitate connections between alumni and students/new grads 

The mentor will present a synopsis of their education, role, industry, and company. Students will then have an opportunity to ask the Alumni career-related questions.   

Mentor Bio: Richard Dias is a distinguished Global Strategist with a proven track record in the financial industry. Mr. Dias possesses a rich understanding of financial markets and economic history and can be relied upon to provide clear, actionable insights for asset allocation and portfolio construction. He plays an important role in producing global macro research for PGM Global, with a keen focus on equity, fixed income, and commodities. Mr. Dias collaborates closely with PGM clients, delivering compelling economic analyses and innovative global macro investment ideas. With a strong foundation from BCA Research in Montreal, he honed his expertise as the Global Macro Strategist for hedge funds and asset managers in the U.K. Mr. Dias graduated from McGill University with a degree in Economics and Finance and is a CFA charter holder.
