Medical Education Rounds: The Faculty’s Education Strategic Plan: Let’s ‘C’! Connect, Collaborate, Create

Progress on the Faculty’s Education Strategic Plan will be shared, to include the process of stake- holder engagement and the particular priority goals and actions underway. Cross-cutting themes and opportunities to be leveraged will be put forward for discussion with the participants.

This session will:

  • Provide an overview of the Faculty’s Education Strategic Plan
  • Invite the audience to consider their roles in connecting with students, collaborating across silos and creating new discoveries in educational research and scholarship


Dr. Annette Majnemer is an occupational therapist with doctoral training in the neurosciences. A full professor at McGill University, she has been the Director of the School of Physical & Occupational Therapy, and is the inaugural Vice Dean of Education in the Faculty of Medicine. She is co-Editor of Physical & Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics and a nominated fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Foundation and the prestigious Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. Annette is a Senior Scientist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre and is currently the lead of CHILD-BRIGHT, a pan-Canadian patient-oriented research network focused on research, training and knowledge translation programs that will promote brighter futures for children with brain-based developmental disabilities and their families.
