Guided Tour of the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning
The Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning is an interprofessional centre of excellence that uses the latest medical simulation technologies to enhance the skills of health care professionals. Fully integrated into McGill's medical and health sciences programs, the centre provides the next generation of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists and more with hands-on training in difficult and potentially dangerous procedures without risk to patients.
On this tour, you will see a four-room patient ward, a 1000-square-foot, fully functional apartment where trainees can practice home care, and a "touchdown room" inspired by the tech industry. Learn how a recent renovation, which more than doubled the Centre's space, has transformed this McGill gem.
