Use this workshop to prepare for academic culture in North America (and specifically at McGill) in this helpful session addressing cultural differences and opportunities in the classroom.

Please Note: This workshop is intended for international students, especially those from outside North America.

By attending this session, you will learn to:
Identify specific features of academic culture at McGill University
Integrate your understanding on such features with your own educational background towards better dealing with instructors and other students
Identify important academic demands and prioritize commitments
Develop initial strategies to maintain successful progress throughout your first term with us

Accessibility Information:


The Leacock Building has an accessible entrance on the east side of the building, and is also accessible through the Arts Building. All floors are accessible via elevators.


Accessible washrooms are available on the 1st basement and 5th floors. Gender-neutral washrooms are available on the 2nd and 5th floors.
