FRQNT Team Research Project Grants

The purpose of this program is to foster the emergence of new research niches in all scientific fields covered by FRQNT and enhance the ability of Quebec researchers to compete in federal competitions by carrying out innovative projects; to promote the pooling of researchers with the complementary expertise needed to carry out a research project, and to provide a conducive environment to high-caliber student training and supervision.

Researchers with projects in the natural sciences, mathematical sciences and engineering who are planning to apply to the upcoming FRQNT Team Research Project competition (2020-2021) are encouraged to attend this information session, which will include:

  • A presentation about the objectives and application requirements of the FRQNT Team Grants program by Alison Glaser and Michelle Picard-Aitken, Senior Grants and Agreement Officers, OSR;
  • A presentation on tips and best practices from previous successful FRQNT Team grant applicants;
  • A question and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the application process.
