Invasive Species Removal with the Morgan Arboretum

Are you passionate about the great outdoors, conservation and recreation, and would like to connect with other like-minded folks on campus?

Come volunteer at the Morgan Arboretum, a McGill owned and operated, self-funded, non-profit nature reserve that is open to the public. A center for conservation, education, research, and recreation, the Morgan Arboretum provides a protected green habitat for wildlife and plants, as well as a serene landscape for human visitors, members (+ dogs), students and researchers to connect with nature. The activity will consist of helping clear hazards on trails to ensure the safety of users, helping with gardening tasks to beautify public spaces, and the removal of invasive species to protect the integrity of the natural species. In line with the Arboretum motto, come "Explore, Learn, Breathe", while volunteering and networking with like-minded individuals, all the while doing work that ensures future participants might also have this privilege.

Once you sign up, you will receive an email with additional information including our meeting time and location to travel together to the venue.

Registration closes September 18th at midnight.

When a minimum of 4 hours of volunteering for Morgan Arboretum has been completed, you can request a copy of your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), an official document recognizing your involvement in out of classroom learning experiences.
