Concert for a Cure
Sponsored by Epilepsy Canada
Under the baton of Maestro Gilles Auger, I Medici di McGill perform an all-Mozart program, featuring soloist Kyoko Hashimoto in Piano Concerto 23. Also on the program is the greatly admired Symphony no. 40, and the Overture of Cosi fan tutte. Proceeds of the concert will benefit epilepsy research in Canada.
Epilepsy Canada, a registered Canadian charity, is dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with epilepsy. Through the financial support of research, Epilepsy Canada strives to help the Canadian neurology community find a cure. Before the concert, Dr. Elsa Rossignol, CHU Ste-Justine, one of several beneficiaries of funding in Quebec, will give a 15 minute “TED-like” talk about the state of epilepsy research and treatment.
