Emma Stevens, the talented singer-songwriter from Eskasoni First Nation in Nova Scotia, who gained widespread recognition for her haunting Mi'kmaq cover of The Beatles' "Blackbird," will be performing live.

Her performance will showcase the beauty of the Mi'kmaw language, with a focus on the impactful lyrics that have resonated with a global audience.

Following her performance, Emma Stevens will engage in a Q&A session where attendees can learn more about her musical journey, the translation process of the Mi'kmaq lyrics, and her aspirations to release more music in her language.

This interactive session provides an opportunity for the audience to connect with Emma and gain insights into her cultural and musical experiences.

A catered reception will follow the event.
