Luis Alonso-Ovalle at UNAM (Mexico City) & El Colegio de México

Last week, Luis Alonso-Ovalle visited UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) and El Colegio de México, where he gave a few lectures on modality, attended presentations by graduate students, and presented “Quantity DPs: Decoupling Quantities from Entities” (joint work with Bernhard Schwarz).

Will Johnston at GLOW in Asia XIV

Last week PhD student Will Johnston presented a poster at GLOW in Asia XIV, held March 6–8 at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His poster draws on his dissertation work and was titled “Diagnosing Prepositions: Decomposing Path in White Hmong”.
