Placing your Innovation on the Scholarly Arc

In this interactive workshop, participants will be guided to consider where their educational innovations sit on the scholarly arc. We will also do some practical exercises to develop skills to support describing educational innovations in ways that make findings from them transferable to broader audiences.

Dr Varpio is internationally recognized for her health professions education research that harnesses her expertise in qualitative research and with theories from the social sciences and humanities. To date, across her 16year tenure in the field, she has secured nearly $6million in research funding and has published over 170 manuscripts.
