Office of First Nations & Inuit Education welcomes teachers to Summer Institute

 textThis summer the Office of First Nations and Inuit Education (OFNIE) hosts a Summer Institute from July 10th to 21st in McGill's Education building.

The institute is held in collaboration with OFNIE's partners at the Cree School Board of Eeyou Istchee, the Kahnawà:ke Education Center and the Kativik School Board of Nunavik, and offers art courses on campus. Fourteen teachers are involved in this institute and all are enrolled in OFNIE's B.Ed. for Certified Teachers program

Housed in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, the Faculty of Education's First Nations and Inuit Education programs have worked in partnership with Indigenous communities throughout Quebec since 1976.
