Reuniting In Person at Homecoming 2022

This October, we were pleased to celebrate our first in-person Homecoming since 2019, a terrific occasion for us to re-engage with our alumni “in real life.”

Homecoming is always a great time to reminisce, expand your network, and to reengage with your alma mater and it was great to be back in person! The campus truly came alive in a way it hasn’t in quite some time. The Desautels family of alumni and friends enjoyed a memorable celebration filled with stories, memories, and plenty of laughs with graduates who traveled from around the world.

The BCom and MBA classes of ‘72 celebrated their 50th anniversary at the Dean’s Champagne Reception prior to the McGill Golden Jubilee Dinner. Our MBA classes of ‘87 and ‘97 held class dinners and welcomed back classmates from around the world as far away as Pakistan, Dubai, the Netherlands and Greece!

The great turnout for the MBA’87 and MBA’97 events was a true testament to how eager our alumni were to reconnect with classmates. It was wonderful to have the Class of ’97 back on campus for a tour of their old haunt, the Samuel Bronfman Building, and to showcase the new facilities in the Donald E. Armstrong Building. More than 80 classmates attended their class dinner later that evening.

To celebrate 25 years since crossing the stage in their caps and gowns, the MBA class of ‘97 has decided to fundraise for a class legacy gift. Their goal is to raise $100,000 to support outstanding students entering or enrolled in the MBA program, who have demonstrated leadership through their field of studies, volunteerism, or extra-curricular activities in environmental or social sustainability. To support their campaign, visit the McGill Crowdfunding website.
