Biography: 

Kristy Pealow is a marketing and communications lecturer at McGill University. She currently holds the position of Vice President, International Markets for a cleantech aerodynamics company helping transportation fleets significantly reduce their CO2 emissions and environmental footprint. In her role, she spearheads the organization's expansion into Europe, Latin America, and Australia, and has executed several mergers and acquisitions.

Leveraging her 15 years of experience leading corporate marketing, international strategic development, and digital transformation for multi-million-dollar companies she utilizes her philosophy that "Marketing Drives Sales". Experienced in developing Go-To-Market Plans to launch new business ventures including the development of venture funding pitch decks, business plans, IP strategies, cybersecurity audits, sales strategies, and public relations campaigns.

Her specialties and consulting interests focus on strategic planning, integrated marketing communication, and SME business management. Collaborating with embassies, trade commissioners, regulators, and legislators outside Canada, Kristy offers expertise to guide their regulatory path in sustainability. She partners with numerous government agencies: Investissement Québec, Global Affairs Canada, the National Research Council, and Innovation Canada, among others. She has worked in the IoT, SaaS, Cybersecurity, Technology, Telecommunications, Distribution, and Luxury Real Estate sectors. Furthermore, she has held positions in marketing for the Federal Government in Veteran’s Affairs, Service Canada, as well as at General Electric Energy, and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation. Kristy is a former tennis and badminton coach and competed at a national level as a sponsored athlete part of the Sport-Etudes program. She is the recipient of the AMBAQ-CAS 2020 Bursary, part of the BDC Women in Tech Venture Fund, and sits on the board for the Pointe-Claire Aquatics Centre.

Kristy earned her Executive MBA at the John Molson School of Business and holds other degrees and professional certifications and is an active Mentor to Co-op students from JMSB.
