 out Alex Cohen\, M. Eng.\, CTO at ABS Intelligence\n\n	\n		As the CTO at ABC 
 Intelligence\, Alex leads a team that builds products that leverage high-q
 uality data to improve healthcare outcomes for pets and their owners. Befo
 re working at ABC Intelligence\, Alex spent three years as a Data Science 
 consultant\, where he implemented AI-based solutions in the healthcare\, t
 elecommunications\, and retail industries. He has a Masters in Fluid Mecha
 nics and is a recipient of the NSERC and FRQNT research scholarships for h
 is research in Forest First Propagation Mechanisms. Alex completed the McG
 ill SCS Professional Development Certificate in Data Science and Machine L
 earning in 2019.\n\n		\n\n	About Faisal Al Azem\, B.Sc.\, Engineer and Senior
  Manager at Bell Canada\n\n	\n		Faisal Al Azem is an Engineer and a Senior Ma
 nager at Bell. He leads a team of Data Science Developers and Product Mana
 gers to deliver AI products aimed at optimizing Bell’s call centre operati
 ons.\n\n		He has 15 years of experience in the telco industry where he held 
 roles in Engineering\, Marketing and Customer Operations. He holds a Bache
 lor of Electrical Engineering from McGill\, a Master of Applied Sciences f
 rom L’Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal\, and completed the McGill SCS Profe
 ssional Development Certificate in Data Science and Machine Learning in 20
 20.\n\n		\n\n	About Hossein Maleklou\, M.Sc.\, Senior Consultant at Slalom\n
 \n	\n		During the past 12 years\, Hossein has had chance to work in different
  domains such as Food and Retail\, Environmental\, Cosmetics and Beauty\, 
 Aerospace\,and Consulting services to clients. Hossein earned a Bachelor o
 f Software Engineering in Iran\, and he started his career as a BI Develop
 er analyzing and integrating data from ERP systems into different stages o
 f on-prem data warehouses and data marts.\n\n		In 2012\, he was admitted int
 o the M.Sc (Information Technology) program at École de technologie supéri
 eure (ÉTS). His thesis was about VM recourse consolidation algorithms in C
 loud Computing. After graduation\, he worked as a Database & Reports Devel
 oper in an Environmental’s software company\, that provides applications a
 nd reports to different clients in environmental\, health\, safety\, and c
 ompliance management domains.\n\n		Hossein joined L’Oréal in 2017 as BI arch
 itect where he focused on solutions to integrate data from different data 
 sources into data warehouse and build multidimensional models for Business
  to build multiple dashboards. At SITA\, he spent a couple of years doing 
 design\, implementing and supporting self-service BI solutions based on Az
 ure platform and Power BI to provide better insights to different airlines
  clients.\n\n		Hossein started his consulting journey at Slalom in 2021\, wh
 ere he focuses on architecture\, design and integration in cloud solutions
  for clients based on different platforms such as Azure\, Databricks\, AWS
 \, Snowflake and works on projects in Bank\, Oil\, and gas domains.\n\n		Out
 side of work\, Hossein enjoys spending time with his family\, hiking\, cam
 ping\, outdoor activities\, reading\, and eating. He loves to cook so much
  that even after a long hard day\, he finds cooking a nice meal utterly re
 laxing. He considers it one of life’s great joys.\n\n		\n\n	About Nathanael W
 eill\, Ph.D.\, Director at Data Science at B-Yond\n\n	\n		Nathanael Weill is 
 an experienced Director of Data Science at B-Yond\, where he leads a team 
 in developing cutting-edge AI and analytics solutions for the telecom indu
 stry. He previously worked as a Senior IoT Data Scientist at Mnubo and as 
 Director of Data Science and Research at LANDR\, where he achieved state-o
 f-the-art algorithms in various fields. Nathanael holds a Ph.D. in pharmac
 eutical sciences and is a lecturer in the Professional Development Certifi
 cate in Data Science and Machine Learning and Professional Development Cer
 tificate in Applied Artificial Intelligence programs at McGill SCS.\n\n		\n
 \n	About Oliver Foster\, MS\, Senior Data Scientist at Intact Financial\n\n
 	\n		Oliver Foster is a Senior Data Scientist at Intact Financial with a back
 ground in mechanical engineering and analytics. He holds a bachelor's degr
 ee in mechanical engineering from McGill University\, a master's degree in
  analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has completed the 
 McGill SCS Professional Development Certificate in Data Science and Machin
 e Learning program. With his skills and knowledge\, Oliver has developed d
 ata-driven solutions for a range of business challenges at Intact Financia
 l and is excited to share his insights on data science on the professional
  panel.\n\n		\n\n	About Raghad Al-Nouri\, M.Sc.\, Associate Consultant\, Slal
 om\n\n	\n		Raghad is a pure mathematician and data scientist/engineer. Her ex
 pertise includes project design and management\, data analysis and interpr
 etation\, and the optimization and implementation of data solutions in the
  cloud (1x GCP | 5x Azure certified).\n			Raghad has an M.Sc. in Differential
  Geometry (UQAM)\, a Professional Development Certificate in Data Science 
 & Machine Learning (McGill SCS) and a Professional Development in Applied 
 Artificial Intelligence (McGill SCS\, in progress). She enjoys generating 
 new ideas and devising feasible solutions. Her colleagues would describe h
 er as a driven\, energetic individual who maintains a positive\, proactive
  attitude under most circumstances. She is a mother of two (11-year-old bo
 y and a 6-year-old girl) who loves swimming\, cycling\, running\, and Arab
 ic poetry.\n\n		\n\n	About Zachary Markofsky\, MS\, Senior Data Governance Sp
 ecialist at Talent Neuron\n\n	\n		Zachary Markofsky is a Senior Data Governan
 ce Specialist at Talent Neuron (formerly Gartner). He holds an MS in Indus
 trial Organization Psychology and is a graduate of the McGill SCS Professi
 onal Development Certificate in Data Science and Machine Learning program.
  He's previously worked in various roles and industries such as data analy
 tics in manufacturing\, behavioural science consulting\, startup leadershi
 p\, and HR business analytics. Zachary is passionate about the 'soft' side
 s of Data Science\, how we build systems which are meaningful\, ethical\, 
 and designed with a human centric approach.\n\n		\n\n
