The exhibition is touring across Canada from March 2022 to early 2023 with dates at several Canadian universities and i nstitutions. The opportunity to see the exhibition on display at McGill Un iversity’s McLennan-Redpath Library Complex (3945 McTavish Street\, main f loor\, reading room) is from May 24 to June 3\, 2022\, open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day including weekends.\n\nCelebrating 50 years of Germ an-Canadian collaboration in scientific and technological research and Ger hard Herzberg’s Nobel Prize win\, this exhibition highlights the scientifi c excellence seen in joint projects in the fields of health and medicine\, physics\, climate sciences\, and green energy. The theme of collaboration is apparent throughout the many stories told in the exhibition\, starting with Herzberg’s story\, and again in the history and legacy of the German -Canadian Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement.\n\nGerhard Herzber g believed that in the quest for new knowledge Canada must build internati onal scientific collaborations. At McGill University\, research partnershi ps with Germany’s Max Planck Society\, the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres\, the Jülich Research Centre\, and the Technical Univers ity of Munich bring together researchers with diverse scientific backgroun ds and perspectives to solve complex problems.\n\nDefining Moments Canada is offering additional resources and educational material to educators and students through the digital Herzberg50 and NobelCanadian projects\, whic h can be explored at the Defining Moments Canada website.
