Published: 11 October 2016

The parties met on September 30 and on October 4 and discussed several topics. They reached agreements on the clauses pertaining to arbitration and disciplinary measures. The parties also discussed the question of employee privacy and agreed to add some language to that effect in the collective agreement. They initiated discussions on the topic of employee probation and decided to resume this discussion when the article related to posting, appointments and reappointments is addressed. They exchanged information relevant to the possibility of granting McGill ID cards to occasional employees. It was agreed that the employer would provide additional information on this matter at the next meeting.

The parties are scheduled to meet again on October 20 and 21.
