Municipal water shutdown

Update, 06/12: The water shutdown previously scheduled for June 11 and 12 will now take place at the same time on June 12 and 13. The new dates are reflected below.

The City of Montreal has informed McGill that due to municipal construction, some downtown campus buildings will lack water for up to 9 hours on June 12 and 13, and for 3 hours in the early morning on June 14. For the City’s scheduled water shutdown schedule, please consult the tables below.

During this time, motor vehicle circulation on University St. will be restricted to one lane.

Water shutdown schedule:

The following buildings will lack water overnight, from 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12 until 6 a.m., Thursday, June 13.
