Prof. Khern-am-nuai wins Information Systems Society award

Congratulations to Warut Khern-am-nuai, Associate Professor in Information Systems, who has won the ISS Sandra A. Slaughter Early Career Award.

Professor Warut Khern-am-nuai has been chosen by the Information Systems Society (ISS) of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) as a recipient of a 2022 INFORMS - ISS Sandra A. Slaughter Early Career Award. The awards were announced at the 2022 INFORMS Annual Meeting held October 16-18, 2022, in Indianapolis.

The award honours the memory of the Late Professor Sandra A. Slaughter who was tireless in her pursuit of recognizing the potential leaders of the “next generation” of information systems academics. The award recognizes and honours early career individuals who are on a path towards making outstanding intellectual contributions to the information systems discipline.

The INFORMS Information Systems Society seeks to foster, promote, and disseminate research on the use and impact of information technology in organizations. It provides a forum for researchers and practitioners in information systems to interact and further their interests in the area. One of the goals of the society is to encourage interdisciplinary research by leveraging connections between other societies and colleges within the INFORMS environment.
