Dobson startup tour showcases Desautels entrepreneurial spirit
In fall, the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship went on the road as part of its annual Startup Tour. The six-week tour provided an opportunity for 10 teams to generate a buzz around their projects and network with industry experts and potential investors.
The tour showcased the award-winning startup Turbodega whose founders are Julio Castañeda (MBA'19) and Daniel Franco (MBA’19). Investment research firm Third Bridge hosted the New York event, allowing the teams to connect with Mergen Davaapil (BCom'07), Global Head of Strategy and Operations at Third Bridge and previous Dobson judge and mentor.
