Catherine Dagenais talks about being at the top of the SAQ
SAQ VP and COO Catherine Dagenais, an EMBA student, recently appeared on 98.5 FM’s Inspiration, Inc to talk about being a woman at the top of her game, her management style, and how she has dealt with the infamous glass ceiling.
As to the link between her previous career at Hallmark and her current company, Ms. Dagenais says that neither sells an essential product, but rather something that one buys for pleasure, so it was a natural progression; when the opportunity arose, she jumped. Ms. Dagenais’ success is an encouraging example of headway at a time when glass ceilings still exist in many areas.
