Writing the Short Story

Whether you’re a novice in need of a structured writing environment or an experienced writer looking to kickstart a stalled project, this course will provide you with opportunities to produce new work and improve existing drafts.

Classes will include discussions of craft based on exemplary short works, reading and writing exercises, and the exchange of thoughtful critique of each other's work.
