Oral PhD defense for Anish Arora

Anish K. Arora is a PhD Candidate in Family Medicine and Primary Care at McGill University. His dissertation focused on understanding the challenges migrants encounter throughout their journey of living with HIV in OECD countries, and furthermore, he evaluated a model of care which sought to ameliorate these challenges for this vulnerable and growing population in Montreal. The findings of his thesis reveal that migrants receiving cost-covered HIV treatment rapidly, on-site, and in a multidisciplinary model have positive experiences with care and reach viral undetectability efficiently.
