The incompressible limit of a tumor growth model.

We study a model of the growth of a tumor governed by Brinkman's Law, which takes into account friction between the tumor cells. In this talk we describe the model and its connections to other PDEs used in tumor modelling, and present our results regarding its incompressible limit. We take a viscosity solutions approach; however, since the system lacks maximum principle, there are interesting challenges to overcome. (This is joint work with Inwon Kim.)
