The Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada is currently on display at the McGill Art Hive Initiative until today at 2pm!
A stunning floor map that spreads from wall to wall, this atlas documents how Indigenous Peoples gave shape and meaning to the land for thousands of years before European contact.
It was produced by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, with the support of Heritage Canada and in partnership with the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, the Assembly of First Nations, the Métis National Council, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, and Indspire.
